AUSMA KANDUTH (nee GRUNMANIS)

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing on August 29th of Ausma Kanduth at 85 years of age. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ernest who passed in 2007 just a few months prior to their 60th wedding anniversary. She will be deeply missed by her two sons Juris (Beverly) and Bob (Vivian) and her granddaughters Erika and Anna. Her beloved grandson Jordan predeceased her in 2007. Ausma, along with her husband and sons, made Paris their home in 1962, arriving from France. She had fled Latvia with her parents and sister during the Russian occupation. She loved music and was a long-time member of the St. Paul’s United Church choir. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 2, 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Church , 48 Broadway St. W., Paris, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Paris Humane Society.
