At Brantford General Hospital with her family at her side, on Monday, November 28, 2011; Barbara Maureen Babcock of Paris, in her 81st year; beloved wife of the late Harold “Bob” Beechey (2002); loving mother of Ron and his wife Margaret of Freelton, Candy and her husband Roger Clark of Burford, Cindy and her husband Tim Ogborne of Paris, Mike of Paris, Dan and his wife Kristina of Ancaster, Melissa and her husband Chris Wright of Paris, and Rob and his wife Kim of Paris; devoted Nana of Vanessa, Patti, Kristy, Kealyn, Kyla, Alyssa, Nicki, Chad, Ben, Ryan, Shannon, Alex, Jenaka, Courtney, Adam, Megan, Tyler and Kelsa; great Nana of Georgia, Sabrina and Walker; sister of Betty (Les) Pettigrew; and sister-in-law of Colonbe and Joan; predeceased by brothers John and George, and sister Peggy Babcock.
Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Stephen Hendry of St. James Anglican Church, Paris officiating.
