Nelson, I consider it an honour to have known Barbara, to have witnessed your mutual devotion to and respect for one another, and to have had the opportunity to discuss learning, literature and the finer points of "So You Think You Can Dance" with her. Barbara's intelligence, breadth of knowledge, integrity and wicked sense of humour never failed to impress and challenge me. She was, and will continue to be, a powerful force of Human Nature.
