Whitehouse, Basil James “Jim”
Peacefully, at Charlotte Villa Retirement Home, Brantford on Sunday March 8, 2015 formerly of Paris, in his 90th year.
Beloved husband to the late Eleanor Doris (nee Ross); loved dad to Jamie (Christine) of Guelph, Janice, Jennifer, both of Hamilton, Judy Barber of Kitchener, and June Sanger (Norm) of Binbrook; cherished granddad to Jamie (Kim), Becky (Kevin), Terry (Erica), Emily, Ruby, and Billy, and great granddad to Sebastian, Mya, Carter and another great grandchild to arrive shortly; dear brother to Lucy Cook (Bill). Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Jim served overseas in WWII with the Queens Own Rifles, seeing action in Holland and Germany. Jim retired from Dofasco in 1984.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration gathering to recognize Jim’s Life will be held at Charlotte Villa Retirement Home (120 Darling St. Brantford) on Sunday March 22, 2015 from 2-4 PM.
