LECLERC – Benjamin Neale
Our beloved gift, Benjamin Neale Leclerc of Ayr, passed away with his family by his side at McMaster Children’s Hospital on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Treasured son of Carrie Bran and Paul Leclerc. Precious stepson to Craig Bran and Mary Leclerc. Cherished by his siblings Cora, Kate, Tristan and Taylor. Much loved grandson of Robert and Marcia McCarthy, the late Leonard and Patricia Neale, Kathy Bran, Larry and Kathy Jull. He will be forever missed by his aunts and uncles, as well as his extended family and friends. The family is grateful for the many wonderful caregivers who worked with Benjamin and helped to enhance the quality of his life. Benjamin’s amazing spirit was felt by all who knew him. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and although he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. He possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. Friends will be received at AYR CHAPEL, Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 183 Northumberland Street, Ayr on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at KNOX UNITED CHURCH, 92 Northumberland Street, Ayr on Wednesday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Ayr Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Ronald McDonald House, Hamilton or Kidsability Centre for Child Development, Cambridge would be appreciated by the family.
