Condolences

Condolence From: Linda and Bob Kaufman
Condolence: Charles was a wonderful neighbour. He helped out with ductwork in our 100 year old home many a year ago. We have had many compliments on his workmanship- nothing but perfection when he did something. We will always have many fond memories of him -especially joining him for tea and being greeted with that very cheerful smile and a "Howdy Neighbour"
We will miss him very much but realize he is in a better place.
To Pat, Rob and family - May you be lifted up by the many dear memories you have created together.1

Condolence: I was shocked to read the announcement in the Expositor. I always thought his last name had an s but I should know better. It was an honour to serve under Mr. Lander when he was the Commanding Officer of NLCC Admiral Landymore. It was so wonderful every time he was able to come by the ship on Waterloo to see the changes. His contribution will live on to our corp. His Legacy remains on the Wardroom Door. You walk in the ship to see various items he has build over the years on display. Many cadets would have loved to honour this man. I'm sure NLCC Admiral Landymore will in the near future. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Condolence: I worked with Charles for 12 years in the Navy League. He believed in good discipline and following the rules. He was always "firm but fair" with the cadets and they admired him. There has to be dozens of young Canadians out there that were influenced by his example. He also provided an island of sound judgement in an organization that could be swayed by emotion. Bravo Zulu, Charlie!
