BOAZ - Christina
Out of the loving arms of her family and into the loving arms of her savior, at Brantford General Hospital on Monday May 2, 2011; Christina McLean Boaz of Paris, aged 86; wife of the late Ross (1967); beloved mother of Claudia Boaz, Allan Boaz (Suzanne Thomas) and Laurie (John Hogarth), all of Paris; loving Grandma of Will Thomas-Boaz, Michael and Sarah, and Christopher and Jessica; dear sister of John Ewart and Sandra Johnston; predeceased by brother James Ewart. Christina was a former member of the Paris Presbyterian Board of Managers, elder and member of the Helen Young Women's Mission Society. She was a former employee of Nova Vita Women's Shelter and when she was unable to get out, found great comfort in hosting her Bible Study Group. Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Paris Presbyterian Church (one block south of the funeral home) on Thursday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Joel Sherbino officiating. Interment Paris Cemetery. Donations in Christina's memory may be made to the Paris Presbyterian Benevolent Fund or the charity of your choice.
