I titled this Broken Hearted cause every day I don't hear ur voice by phone or in person or see ur smiling face, I am broken hearted. U will be gone this Saturday (April 12th) 1 year & the pain still feels like I had to say good bye yesterday. I fight back the tears of sadness & tears of happiness everyday. Tears of sadness cause ur no longer here with us & the tears of happiness is because I remember when u were my Santa (when I was little) & oh I can't forget ur bird dance. Those r just a few memories I cherish. There was also the time when u tried to teach my how to use a lawn mower (New Brunswick) & u would give Uncle Richard trouble for telling me ghost stories just before bed. These my be little memories to some but to me, they were the best. U were my grandpa & I am so glad for the years that we did have together. So please be there waiting when my time comes cause I have so many hugs to share!!
