Kelly, Yvonne 'Babs' (nee Booth)
Peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Brantford General Hospital, on Tuesday April 24, 2007, in her 80th year. Beloved wife and sweetheart of Norman of Paris, loved mother of Heather and her husband Bill Anderson of Toronto, Maureen Spence of Calgary, Jim and his wife Kathy of Paris, Mary Therese and her husband Terry Layton of California; cherished grandmother to Mike and Caroline Capizzano of Los Angeles, Karen, Alicia, Matt and Sarah Kelly of Paris, loved sister to Dawna Wein of Vernon, BC; lovingly remembered by her brother in laws Dr. Bev Kelly and his wife Ruth of Toronto, Bill Kelly and his wife Elsie of Orillia and sister in law of Joan Walsh and her husband Barry of Baysville and many nieces and nephews. Born in Toronto, Yvonne attended elementary school there and in Huntsville and Port Sydney, completing high school in Bracebridge. She taught school for a year in Muskoka Falls. In Paris, she was a long time member of Sacred Heart Church, the church choir and the CWL. She served as a volunteer for the Blood Donor Clinic and Meals on Wheels.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parish prayers will be recited at 8:45 PM from the funeral home. Morning prayers will be offered from the funeral home on Saturday April 28, 2007 at 10:40 AM followed by transfer to Sacred Heart RC Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Father Michael Bennett celebrant. Interment later Baysville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Food For Children or the Salvation Army would be appreciated
