Life Story for David Frederick "Dave" Johnston

Johnston, David Frederick 'Dave'
Peacefully, as a result of an accident, surrounded by his family, at Brantford General Hospital, on Monday September 7, 2009, a lifelong resident of Paris, in his 67th year.
Dave was a longtime employee of the Town of Paris, he served with the Paris Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years. He dedicated much time and many years to the maintenance of St. James Anglican Cemetery, Paris.
Beloved husband and best friend to Denise (nee Schweitzer); loved dad to Steve (Ivy), Deborah Tiffany (Mark), and Leigh Anne Thompson (Jeff); cherished grandpa to Kayla, Laura, Christina, Justin, Joshua, Siarra, Paige and Luke; dear brother to Gordon (Sharon) and Bev McComb (George). Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends, Predeceased by his son Robert (2000) and parents Balf and Maudie.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Thursday September 10, from 3-5 PM & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service to be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 1:00 PM with Father Stephen Hendry of St. James Anglican Church officiating. Interment St. James Anglican Cemetery.
