Condolence: My deepest condolences to Jim, Maggie, Fred, Pam, all their family, and the many friends of David. When I think of David, I think of two words. Friend and Family. David defined 'pure friendship' through his actions. Always greeting with a smile and a hug, displaying genuine and unconditional love. David always treated me as a life time friend. He did not judge or hold a grudge. The Longley Family, with their humour, love and care for one another. David so obviously cherished his family, and I have always been touched by the powerful bond he shared with them. Thank you David. You are forever in my memory.

Condolence: Our thoughts are with Jim, Maggie, Fred, Pam and their families at this sad time. Since receiving the news of David's passing I have been reflecting on our friendship as children as well as in our adult life. I truly feel blessed to have known him, and know that I have had aspects of my life deeply influenced by him including his sense of humour. David was remarkable and a one of a kind, unique individual , someone who I will never forget.

Condolence: I shared a story called "Early Years with David" with memories of my brothers and me growing up with our friend and neighbour David, and somehow missed signing my name. My condolences to the Longleys, and to all who knew and loved David. - Kimberley Onclin; Edmonton, Alberta.

Condolence: I am so sad to hear about David. I have to say that if there was ever anyone that touched my heart and made such a difference in my life it was David. From the time that I could walk we would come to your house to play basketball with David, we did everything together. He was a best friend to me. I remember going to Ton of Fun with David, riding our bikes together, playing together, and learning from each other.

It was always great to see him, my mother loved when he would come to the house and stand at the door and yell...Inez...through the door so she would come out to see him and let him in.

There has never been someone that has touched my heart and taught me more about myself and others then David.

I wish I could make it to the visitation to see everyone and say my good byes to David but I know he will always be with me. He always has been....

Friends forever.

Bill McLeod.
