To the Attlebery family: my deepest condolences with the passing of Dick, We all meet many people along the journey of our lives but Dick (the coach, the story teller, the preacher, & funniest guy in the room) is one I will not forget personally. When I heard the news I was in shock as I sat with him last summer at the annual Emerson Open Golf Event in Paris, sat beside him and had a great dinner and laugh together and as usual he was never short for words all night. I was saddened immediately when I heard the news, however within 10 minutes after the sorrow, I had a BIG smile on my face about Dick as he was one of a kind, touched so many people along the way and left his mark with all of us which is what it is really about.
