Carey, Donald Gordon
With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, grandfather and brother on Tuesday June 11, 2019.
Predeceased by his wife and best friend Marilynn (nee Beattie – 2016).
He will be deeply missed by his loving daughters Cathy Formica (Mario) and Debbie Corey. Proud Grandfather to Cameron (Jessica), Dylan (Sarah), Dustin, Matthew (Rachel) and Sarah. Dear brother to Ken Carey (Louise) and brother in law of Bill Beattie (Karen) and Ross Beattie (Linda). Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Don was a CPA owning several businesses during his career, but his passion was farming. He planted his last field with a big smile on his face on Saturday June 8. We are so thankful for our many family vacation memories.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St Ayr, on Thursday June 13, 2019 from 7-9 PM.
A private family service will be held on Friday in the funeral home chapel
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary’s General Hospital or Woodstock General Hospital would be appreciated.
Online condolences and donations may be arranged through or by contacting Wm. Kipp 519 632 8228.

To Cathy and Deb, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. I just saw him on April 26 at the club. He was a lovely man. I noticed your Mom wasn’t with him and found out she suddenly passed 2016. My condolences to you girls and your families. It’s hard to loose your parents. We all do. RIP Mr Carey! Now you are reunited with Mrs Carey!

Dear Cathy, Mario, and Debbie and your families
I was so saddened to read that your Dad passed away.
I had many business dealings with Don and Marilyn, Cathy & Mario ,and Debbie over the years.
What a loss to you all and the community.
Don was one of the finest Gentleman I have ever met, and always was so proud of his family.
I did not realize that Marilyn had passed, she and Don were special, and now reunited again.

Please except our prayers at this difficult time.
May God bless this family.

One of the very best people I have ever had the privilege to meet and work with. Truly one of a kind; from a time when a hand shake was all you needed. "I am forever grateful, you will be forever missed".
