Sharp, Donald Fraser
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday July 10, 2014, a longtime resident of Glen Morris, in his 89th year.
Don farmed and was a co-founder of Sharp Bus Lines in Glen Morris with his wife Mary and his brother Stuart. He enjoyed travelling, family gatherings, and dancing. He served as a board member and a volunteer with Glen Morris Cemetery for many years and was very active in many local charities and activities.
Beloved husband to Mary (nee McCrea ) for 63 years; loved father to Donna Mundie (Brian), Heather MacKenzie (Bill), John (Shawna) and Bill (Martha); cherished grandpa to Stephen, Thomas and Ainsley Mundie; Laura, Peter (Candace) and Blaire MacKenzie; Tori and Alanna Sharp; and Adam, Stephanie and James Sharp. Dear brother in law to Gladys McCrea, Marilyn Sharp, Stan Fedorwick, and Evelyn Sharp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, James and Mary “Mame” (nee Fraser), his siblings, Andy (Doris), Tom, Helen Fedorwick and Stuart (Evelyn) and brother-in-law Bill McCrea (Marjorie) and Nelson McCrea.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Monday July 14, 2014 from 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Brenda Otawa officiating. Interment Glen Morris Cemetery.
