MASON – Dorothy (nee Kinch)
At Brantford General Hospital on Friday February 28, 2014; Dorothy May Mason of Paris, in her 95th year; survived by her daughter Susan (George) Davidson of Vittoria, daughter-in-law Sally “Penny” Mason of Paris, granddaughter Kimberlee (Bruce) Airdrie of Paris, great grandsons Mason, Ben and Ryan all of Paris, and great grandson Tyler Mason of Washago; predeceased by her husband Harry Mason (1977), son Bob (2002), grandson Scott Mason (2001), all her siblings Jack, Bobby, Harry, Maudie Anderson and Jimmy, and her half brothers Bill, Arthur, Charles (at Amiens), Fred (at Vimy Ridge) and Syd. Mom was a great seamstress and knitter, working for Mary Maxim and later at the Pride of Paris until her retirement. Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 5 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Kellie McComb officiating. Interment Paris Cemetery. Please no flowers. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to your local SPCA.
