I was so sad to hear of Doug's passing. I have always been very fond of Doug, because he always struck me as such a kind decent sweet man. Genuine, salt of the earth. He may have been one of the quieter ones at our noisy family gatherings but I made always made a point of seeking him out and chatting with him because I truly enjoyed his company. Maybe it was because he reminded me somewhat of my Dad. Quiet on the outside but you could tell he was solid and genuine underneath, and a great father for his kids. My heartfelt best wishes go out to you, Shirley, Ryan, Shawn, and all of the Kipp extended family. I sincerely wish I could have been with you, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
