FOLSETTER - Douglas Leask
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital on Monday June 21, 2010, formerly of Bethel and Paris, in his 94th year;
Doug farmed all his life in the house he was born in on Rest Acres Rd. He was a member of the Paris Lions Club, a Flying Farmer, a former member of St. John's Masonic Lodge, Paris, and an avid sportsman.
Beloved husband of Grace (nee Logan); loved dad of Katharine Savage of Barrie, and Logan (Mary) of Brantford; cherished papa of Rachel Jones (Wesley), Logan (Cindy), Kaitlin (Tyler) Joshua, Kelvin and Jeremy and great grandchildren Zack, Lucas “Tank”, Jacob “Vader” and Liam; dear brother of Betty Anderson (Gord). Also survived by several nieces and nephews and his friend Peter Agnello. Predeceased by his parents George and Muriel, a great granddaughter Samantha, his brother Don (Bessie) and a sister Hazel Clegg (Tom).
Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on in the chapel on Friday, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Adrienne Robertson of Bethel Stone United Church officiating.
Interment Paris Cemetery.
