Killeleagh, Doug
Peacefully, at home, on Friday September 18, 2009, of Brantford, in his 66th year. Doug was an electrician with IBEW Local 105 Hamilton. He was a sports fanatic, he loved his Leafs, Brantford Red Sox and the CFL; a true Canadian to the core.
Beloved husband and best friend for 43 years to Linda (nee Saunders); loved dad to Shawn (Tanya), Nicole Smith (Ritch Meiszinger), and Kory; cherished papa to Kassy, Adam, Megan, and Morgan (Moe); Special friend to his dog Louie; brother to Margaret, Jane, Allison, Patricia, Elizabeth, Grahame, and Warren; son in law to Lorraine Clifford (the late Daniel Saunders); and brother in law to Diane, Doug and Jim. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his friends Faye, Tom, Dale, Joanne, and Lyle. Predeceased by his parents Thompson and Evelyn, his brothers Richard, Robert and Owen, sister, Kathleen, and son in law JC.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Tuesday 3-5 & 7-9PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a trust fund set up in Korey's name (cheques accepted at funeral home) would be preferred and appreciated.
