Obituary for Edith Joan Arrowsmith (Edwards) (Girard)

Arrowsmith (Edwards) Edith Joan (nee Girard)
Peacefully, at John Noble Home, Brantford, on Monday February 10, 2014, a longtime resident of Paris, in her 85th year.
Edith was a longtime member of the Brant Choraleens, she was an active member of St. James Anglican Church where she sang in the choir.
Beloved wife to the late Cecil (1990); loved mom to Sandy Gatten (the late Doug), Brenda Black (George), Brian Edwards (Brenda), and Christine Edwards; cherished grandma to 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; dear sister to Dorothy Sayles (the late Lee), Vivian Fitzpatrick (the late Tom) and Ted (Mona) Girard. Also survived by Cecil’s children and their families and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Patricia in infancy, parents Archie and Jessie Girard, her sisters; Cecilia (Milton), and Marian (Jim).
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Thursday 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at St. James Anglican Church (8 Burwell St. Paris) on Friday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Victor Kischak-Krueger officiating. Interment St. James Anglican Cemetery.
