Life Story for Edith Harriett Davis (Peters)

Edith Harriett  Davis (Peters)
Peacefully, at her home, on Sunday December 2, 2007, a longtime resident of Ayr, in her 81st year. Edith along with her family operatoed the Davis Butcher Shop in Ayr, she lovingly attended to the gardens at Kirkwood Apartments for many years, she was a member of the Knox United Seniors Group, she was an avid lawn bowler and curler, and a strong supporter of the Ayr-Paris Band. Beloved mom to Laslie Hallman (Bruce) of New Dundee, Clare (LInda) , Ron (Nancy) all of Ayr, Terry (Denise) of Barrie, and Brenda Riddel (Bob) of Missouri; cherished grandma to Teresa, Lisa, Cindy, Charlotte, Allana, Julie, Kim, Samantha, Shelley, Vicky, Anthony, and Cody and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her granddaughter Melissa and her brothers Murray and Doug Peters.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Knox United Church (92 Northumberland St. Ayr) on Thursday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Fred Hagle officiating. Interment following cremation in Ayr Cemetery.
