Summerhayes, Florence Mabel (nee Carter)
Peacefully, at Telfer Place, Paris, on Thursday January 3, 2013, formerly of Richwood, in her 83rd year.
Florence was a long time member of Richwood United Church and the UCW; she worked at the Willett Hospital and Brantford General Hospital as a RNA.
Beloved wife to the late John (2003); loved mom to Jackie Joyce (Wayne) and step mom to Shirley Dawdy and Anne Edelman; cherished grandma to Cassandra, Kaitlyn, Johnathon Joyce and “Auntie” Florence to John (Corry), Susan, Allan, Rob (Carol), Tracy (Allan) and Mike and many great grandchildren; dear sister to George Carter (Sue), Barbara Clarkson (the late John), and Anna Leach (Ron). and sister in law to Ann Carter Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; George and Barbara; her sister Mary Olmstead and brothers, Jim and Bill Carter.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Sunday January 6, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2:00 PM.
Interment Richwood Cemetery.
