Peacefully, at Woodstock General Hospital, with his family by his side Fraser Laidlaw Hanna on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.
Born October 30, 1925 in Fergus to Wm. James (1965) and Ethel Jean (nee Shortt 1983), and raised in Belwood at the family farm until he married his sweetheart, Rose on October 12, 1946.
Fraser owned and operated Hanna's Garage in Drumbo from 1961 until his retirement in 1987. His wood working hobby kept him busy for many years, crafting grandfather clocks and restoring antique furniture.
Loving husband to Rose (Mueller) for 69 years, cherished father to Doug and Sandra Hanna, Paris; Michael Hanna, Vancouver; Brian and Linda Hanna, Paris; Brenda and Doug Wrath, London and Joanne and Brian Blum, Tavistock.
Proud Grampa to Jennifer (Derek) Running, Eric (Grace) Hanna, Marc (Krista) Hanna and Andrew Wrath.
Fraser was blessed with 8 great granddaughters - Gabrielle, Emeilia, Alexandria, Olivia and Sophia Hanna; and Ragen, Rachel and Reese Running - and one very special great grandson, Wyatt Fraser Hanna.
Predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Carol Hanna (2015).
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Friday September 25, for Memorial Visitation from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Inurnment later Paris Cemetery.
