Schaefer, Gertrude (nee Goettling)
Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday September 26, 2006, a longtime resident of Ayr, in her 95th year.
Beloved wife of the late Clarence (1995); loved mother to Floyd and Helen, Donald and Leone, all of Ayr, and the Late Earl and Donna of Cambridge; cherished grandma to Debbie & Kenneth, Carolyn & Neil, Terry & Garry, Rodney & Carolynne, Cheryl & Paul, Steven & Ann, Janeen, Nadine & Dennis, Christopher & Suzanne, Erin & Dustin, and Andrew & Tanya, great grandma to 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; dear sister to Sangster Goettling and sister in law Velma Schaefer and god mother to Marilyn Howell. Predeceased by her sister Violet Fried.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home 183 Northumberland St. Ayr, on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Complete Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, (92 Northumberland St. Ayr) on Monday at 1:30 PM with Rev. Fred Hagle officiating. Cremation to follow with interment Ayr Cemetery.
