Parkhill, Howard William
After a lengthy illness, at Brantford General Hospital, on Sunday February 22, 2009, a lifelong resident of Brant County, in his 92nd year.
Howard served overseas in WWII with the Canadian Airforce, where he was a pilot and a WAG. He was a member of the Lapidary Mineral Society and a member of St. James Anglican Church, Paris. He was employed for 36 years wih Canada Post in Brantford.
Beloved husband to Gwendolyn; loved father to Richard (Karen); cherished grandfather to Tracie, Scott, and Kevin; and great grandfather to Ryan, Braeden, Vanessa, and Sammy Jr.; dear brother to Olive Daniels. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Jack and Earl Parkhill and sister Evelyn Wright.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Wednesday from 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at St James Anglican Church (8 Burwell St. Paris) on Thursday at 2:00 PM with Father Stephen Hendry officiating. Interment St. James Anglican Cemetery. Donations to St. James Anglican Church would be appreciated.
