MOYER - Janet
At Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford on Thursday, June 21, 2012; Janet Janke Melse Moyer of Ayr, in her 96th year; dear mother of Pieter (Elaine) Melse, Bert (Edith) Melse, David (Elizabeth) Melse, the late John (Marion) Melse (2004) and Jan Melse (1949); grandmother of Linda, Lilly, Pieter, Sarah, Michael and the late Christa Lee; great grandmother of 3 and great great grandmother of 2; predeceased by her loving first husband Pieter Melse (1987), her second husband Herb Moyer (1997) and her loved companion Henk Bos (2003). Janet was born in Holland and came to Canada with her husband Pieter and four sons in 1957. She was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr, the W.I. and Ayr Seniors. Janet also did a lot of volunteer work in her younger years. Family funeral services were held from the AYR CHAPEL, Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 183 Northumberland Street, Ayr on Monday, June 25, 2012. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery. Donations in Janet’s memory may be made to SickKids Hospital Foundation, Toronto or Knox United Church, Ayr.
