HASTINGS, Jean Cavell (nee Fielding)
On Easter Sunday Morning….what a beautiful day to enter Heaven. Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace, Paris, on Sunday April 8, 2012, in her 83year.
Jean was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, she was an avid knitter throughout her life and continued her craft while at Park Lane Terrace.
Beloved wife to the late John Robert Hastings (1988); loved mother to Christine Smith (Barry), Debbie Stratton (Ted), Donna Millward (Scott), and Barb Van Linn (Dieter); cherished nana to 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; dear sister to Don Fielding (Norine), Marie Fuller (Peter ), Bill Fielding (Germaine), Ann Cracknell (Bill), John Fielding (Diane), Bob Fielding (Ann), Jim Fielding (Margaret), Barb Patterson (John), and David Fielding (Linda) and sister in law to Dorothy Beechey, Julia Mary Dale and Fred Hastings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Leslie and Mildred, her brother Leslie and a sister Ruth Buck.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at St. James Anglican Church (8 Burwell St. Paris) on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment Paris Cemetery
