Life Story for John Thomas Barlow (Buzz)

John Thomas  Barlow (Buzz)
Peacefully, at Telfer Place Retirement Home, Paris, on Saturday September 12, 2009, a lifelong resident of Paris, in his 95t year.
Born on December 18, 1914, in Liverpool, England, he and his family immigrated to Canada following the death of his father in WWI, settling in Paris. He was a veteran of WWII and served overseas, RCAF Pilot, Bomber Command 429 Squadron (Hailfax Aircraft). Barlow served with many groups and organizations in Paris, he was a lithographer and avid outdoorsman.
Beloved husband of the late Mary Pearce (2001); loved father of Andrew (Lynn); Eric (Karen); Catherine Barlow (the late Hayes Jackson); Cherished grandpa of Jesse, Jamie and Will Barlow. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Margaret Hogan and Mary Hill and a brother William Barlow.
Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, at Sacred Heart Church, Paris at 11:00 a.m. Father Michael Bennett celebrant. Cremation followed by interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
A Legion Service under auspice Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 29 will be held Tuesday at 6:30 PM and Parish Prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 8:45 PM, both from the funeral home.
