Henderson, John Alexander,
Passed away at Brantford General Hospital, on Saturday October 24, 2009, in his 78th year.
He was born in Guelph Township on February 6, 1932, a son of the late Keith and Gretta Henderson. He farmed south of Ayr for many years prior to moving to Paris in 1997. He will be sadly missed by his wife Dorothy (nee McRuer), his son Jeff, his daughter Beth, and his granddaughters Rachel and Kate. Fondly remembered by Lisa Henderson. He is also survived by his sister Flora Heard (Richard) of Arva, brother in law James Barrie of Cambridge, and sister in law Eleanor Henderson of Guelph and their families. Predeceased by a sister Marian Barrie and brother George Henderson.
A Funeral Service will be held at Ayr. Chapel Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Wednesday October 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM. Interment Ayr Cemetery. Following the interment a time of visiting and refreshment will be held at Knox United Church Fellowship Hall, Ayr.
