Little, J. Robert "Bob"
Peacefully, at Grand River Health Centre, K-W Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday December 6th 2010, a lifelong resident of Ayr in his 89th year.
Bob served overseas during WWII, when he returned to Ayr he worked for Watson's Manufacturing before taking over his father's Electrical/Plumbing Business. He was a 50 year member of the IOOF. He was the caretaker of Ayr Cemetery for 52 years.
Beloved husband to the late Margaret (nee Burton (1999); loved dad to Bill (Alison) and Sandy Perrin (Ron); cherished grandpa to Eric (Sherri) and Ashley Little and Nicholas and Becky Perrin, and great grandpa to Logan; dear brother to Helen Higgins. Also survived by his cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents James and Clara; his brother Raymond, sister in law Jean, and brother in law Fred, and good friend Jessie Mackie.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Church (Beside Funeral Home) on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Private family burial Ayr Cemetery.
