Life Story for John Malcolm Nichols

John Malcolm  Nichols
Peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by his family, at Stedman Community Hospice, on Wednesday October 31, 2007, in his 75th year.
Beloved husband to the late Sylvia (nee Greedy) (1998); loved dad to Ian (Cheryl) of Simcoe, Keith (Debbiy), and Stephen (April) all of Brantford; cherished “gramps” to Julie (John), Michele, Kelly (Mitchell), Kristina and Sarah; dear brother to Alan (Val) and Pamela (Peter), brother in law to Teddy, Tony, and Noreen, and dear friend to Mark Pifher. Also survived by his great extended family in South Wales. Predeceased by his brother in laws Mervyn and Ernie, and sister in law Peggy.
John was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Paris and Burford and served South Wales Borderers – 24th regiment.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services to be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 AM; with Father Stephen Hendry of St. James Anglican Church officiating. Interment Paris Cemetery.
A Legion service under the auspice of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 29 will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 6:30 PM.
