Wheeler, June Elizabeth –(nee Colborne) –
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Monday February 17, 2014, a longtime resident of Paris, in her 87th year
June and her husband Doug were very active with the Royal Canadian Legion, serving in many capacities. June was also a member of the Claremount Rebekah Lodge.
Predeceased by her husband Doug (2006), a son Gary, her brothers, Kenneth and Arnold and a nephew Bob Melville.
She is survived by her sister Helen Wall and Karen Ferris, brothers, Wayne Laurie and Lynn; nieces Karen Brown and Rosemary Melville, nephew Doug Melville (Rosemary) and her good friend Celene Staveley.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N, Paris on Wednesday February 19, 2014 from 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 12:00 PM. Interment following cremation Paris Cemetery.
