De Vries, (nee Beke), Kimberley Louise
At Lisaard House, on March 30, 2006, born April 27, 1958, late of the City of Cambridge, after a short but hard fought battle with a rare form of stomach cancer. Survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Steve, who became so much more to her with his endless care. Kim is the much loved mother of her son Jason and her daughter Lindsay. Survived by her loving and supportive family, parents Frank and Shirley Beke, her brother Daryl Beke, her sister Carla (Ivan) Herd and her brother David (Cathy) Beke). Kim will also ne missed by her nieces Janis (Shane) Drever, Nicole Beke, her nephews Joel and Adam Beke and her great nephew Jaxson Drever. Kim's extended family includes the Beke aunts and uncles; Tony (Barbara), Alex, Joseph (Dot), Charlies (Eileen) including 26 first cousins and their families. Predeceased by Louie, Mary, and Margaret. The Duncan aunts and uncles; June, Larry (Susan) including 14 first cousins and their families.Predeceased by Raulie and Fern. Steve's family including his mother Reina DeVries, Corrine (Theo) Biesma, Casey (Elie) Koelewyn, Peter (Nedi) Koelewyn and their families. Predeceased by a brother-in-law Cees De Vries. Also many friends and colleagues made over the years, most recently at the Ministry of the Attorney General, Court Services Division, where she was employed as a business analyst. Kim was a member of the Ayr Curling Club.
At Kim's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be on Friday April 7, 2006 from 7-9 PM with the final visitation on Saturday April 8, 2006 12:30 -2PM followed by memorial service at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr.
