Condolence: My sympathy on your recent loss. Rev and Mrs Burr lived and worked in Dereham Centre (Mt Elgin Parish) from 1964 to 1967 where I grew up. As I was in university during this period, I only knew them casually, but remember them as sincere, friendly individuals. They became friends of my parents and Rev Burr officiated at the marriage of my sister.

Condolence: We were saddened today when cousin Joanne called us with the news that our dear cousin Eileen had passed away! I'm saddened to receive the news of Mrs. Burr's passing. I too grew up in Dereham Centre, where Rev and Mrs. Burr made their home for 3 years. Rev. Burr officiated at our wedding in June of 1967. They were both gentle and sincere people who added a lot to the community, where our family lived for 5 generations. Our sincere condolences at this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you. Your parents will always be remembered fondly by us. We had only $17.00 for our honeymoon. We spent our wedding night at the "Burr Inn" in Grand Bend. They have been a blessing to us over the years and we wish you only fond memories of bothe your parents.
