Burleigh, Mary Eleanor (nee Carmichael)
We are saddened by the passing of Mary Eleanor Burleigh at Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday July 22, 2015, in her 80th year.
Beloved wife to William John Francis Burleigh; deeply cherished by her six children and their spouses, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, we wish her love and peace.
Dear sister to Anne. She was the daughter to the late Lawrence Dougald Carmichael and the former Edith Winnifred Scott. Also predeceased by sisters Jane, & Martha.
With a passion for her family, her horses, dogs, music and literature and sport; she led her family with a quiet strength that will be sadly missed.
In keeping with Mary Eleanor’s wishes cremation has taken place. A family service was held at Paris Cemetery.
