Obituary for Muriel Lorraine Parks (Graham)

Parks, Muriel, (nee Graham)
Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace, Paris, on Wednesday February 12, 2014 after a lengthy illness, Muriel Parks of Paris, in her 95th year.
Muriel retired after 16 years at the White Horse Restaurant and the Brantford Expositor for 8 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church, Paris and the Rebekah Lodge member. Muriel loved sports and will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and for always putting the needs of other people first
Dear wife of the late Donald Parks (1999); Cherished mother of Susan & Dennis Sylvester of Paris, Dawn & Tom Ronson of Brantford, and Kim & Debbie Parks of Paris; Beloved grandmother of Lisa & Paul. Shawn, Michael, Dwayne & Ally, Ricky & Matt, Teal & Kyle, Julie & Scott, and Reid & Marj; loved great grandmother to 11 Great grandchildren; dear sister to Ted and June Graham of Paris. She will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
Predeceased by brothers, Les, Harry, Lloyd, and Ronald Graham and sisters, Bea Mead and Phylis Pinkett.
At Muriel's request cremation has taken place. A Private Graveside service will be held in the spring at Paris Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
