At Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, June 8, 2009; Murray Forrest of Woodstock and formerly of Princeton; beloved husband for 54 years of Billie (Hill); loving father and mentor of Kathryn (Rod MacDougall) of Ayr and Greg (Joanne) Forrest of Princeton; adored Poppa of Kate (Mike) Shantz, Hillary and Bethany Robertson, Jenna and Tenielle Forrest; dear brother of Bill (Dorothy) Forrest and Joan (Don) Adamson; and brother-in-law of Zena Hill. Murray owned and operated Murray Forrest Electric in Princeton for over 50 years. Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. Memorial funeral service will be held in our chapel on Friday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend David Catton of Princeton United Church officiating. Cremation followed by interment in Princeton Cemetery. Donations in Murray's memory may be made to the Lions Camp Dorset (Dialysis Camp) or the Princeton United Church Memorial Fund.
