Life Story for Myrtle Verla Etherington (Mahon)

Myrtle Verla  Etherington (Mahon)
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday October 30, 2008, a longtime resident of Drumbo and formerly of Paris, in her 89th year.
Beloved wife to the late Lloyd (1999); loved mom to Larry (Marjorie), Murray (Marion), Kim (Janette), Ann Etherington. and Karen Piro (Dean); cherished “grandma Myrt” to 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; dear sister to Earle (Marjory), and Shirley Bonney (Bill) and sister in law to Polly Mahon. Predeceased by brothers Cliff and Ken Mahon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Monday November 3, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Private family interment Wolverton Cemetery. A Memorial service will be held at Willis United Church, Drumbo on Tuesday November 4, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Eloi Gunn officiating. Donations to Willis United Church or the Woodstock and District Developmental Services (WDDS) would be appreciated. Special thanks to the devoted neighbours, dear friends at Drumbo Fire Department, and all those caregivers who helped her maintain her great quality of life
