Johansen, Nancy Joan (nee Smith)
Peacefully, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday July 18, 2012, of Ayr and formerly of Kitchener, in her 82nd year.
Nancy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star- Meeting Waters # 173, Paris. She loved music especially the piano.
Beloved wife of 61years to Sterling “Carl”; loved mom to Patrice “Pat” Burt (Tim) and Tracy Curzon (Bryan) all of Waterloo; cherished nana to Megan, Jordan, Logan, & Rachael; dear sister to Naomi Hahn and sister in law to Wyn Johansen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by in-laws Kay & Cliff Trussler, George Johansen, and Douglas Hahn.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may gathering at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Saturday July 21, 2012 after 10am. Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at 11:00 AM.
