Condolence From: Kim Melbourne (daughter of John Harder)
Condolence: To Uncle Jim and all my cousins. I remember when we were young and visited your family for weekend BBQ's. You were always such a close family and Auntie Pat was always smiling and full of happiness. Visiting you guys has always been one of my favourite memories of my childhood. I do think about my cousins and Uncle Jim and Auntie Pat often remembering our visits to Paris/London/Branford (I think I got the city names correct). We had a lot of fun. At a get together at my Dad’s, several years ago, in Ottawa, Auntie Pat took the time to befriend my youngest son Drew. She fed him corn and he ate it all! Her gentle manor allowed him to feel a bit more comfortable in a house full of strangers. I will remember Auntie Pat as a generous, supportive lady and fascinating to talk to. Love your cousin Kim (the oldest of the Harder cousins! Yikes)

Condolence: Our thoughts are with Jim and his family.
We were shocked to here of your loss and apologize for not making it to visitation. Please know that we thought Pat was a wonderful person and feel the world has lost a great asset.
We miss all those days of the kids' hockey and meeting up with wonderful people, like Pat.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch.
We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived.
And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
My friend forever
Nancy and Pat
