Fischer, Patrick M. “Pat”
At home, on Thursday September 27, 2012, of Ayr and formerly of Kitchener, in his 78th year.
Pat was a 38 year employee of JM Schneider, following his retirement he worked part time for Canpar. He was an avid gardener and loved fishing with his sons.
Beloved husband to Judy; loved dad to Cindy Steckenreiter (the late Gordon), Stephen (Nancy) both of Waterloo, Dan (Marg), Mark (Leisa) both of Kitchener, and Angela Free (Mitch) of St. George; cherished papa to Shane, Jasmine, Denise (Shawn), Patricia, Steven, Michael, Patrick, & Alea and 3 great grandson; dear brother to Jim (Edie) of Guelph and Don (Sheila) of Brantford, and brother in-law to Marjorie of Guelph and Anne of Kitchener. Also survived by his first wife Carol and Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Alex and Eleanor, his in laws, Nora and Humphrey Jones, and brothers; Walter, Harold, Frank and John, and 2 nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration will be held at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr, on Thursday October 4, 2012 friends may gather from 12-1 PM. Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at1:00 PM
