I was sorry to hear that Paula had passed away after such a long battle.I was her Hospice volunteer for many months.I enjoyed getting to know her and I felt like we formed a friendship the first time I visited.She was a delightful woman and I loved her sense of humour and honesty.We were always able to find something to laugh about.I have never had a Hospice client with such an amazing outlook.She knew what her situation was and seemed to accept it.She never gave up and always found some small thing to be grateful for.I will never forget her courage and optimistic outlook. It was a pleasure to get to know her and her very kind husband,Bob.Of cours,I cannot forget Pickles.My thoughts are with you all.
