BERNHARDT – Peter (May 22, 1946 – September 14, 2011)
With deep sadness, the family of Peter Robert Bernhardt of Brantford announces his death on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Brantford General Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. Peter leaves behind his wife Anne (Baxter); daughter Jennifer; sons, Matthew and Timothy; mother Meg (Marjorie) Bernhardt of Paris; father the late Robert (1995); brother John (Cathy) Bernhardt of Brantford; father-in-law John Baxter of Brantford; brother-in-law Fred (Janice) Baxter; nieces, Kelly (Melvin) VanEvery, Nicole (Derek) Walsh, Jamie (James) Camp and Lindsay Baxter; 11 great nieces and nephews; and 1 great great nephew. Peter was a craftsman in everything he accomplished. His memorable sense of humour will be missed. Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 17 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation followed by interment in Paris Cemetery.
