Parkinson, Rebecca 'Becky' (nee Lander)
Peacefully, at Telfer Place, on Tuesday February 24, 2009, a lifelong resident of Paris, in her 90th year. Becky was a longtime member of St. Paul's United Church. She voluntered with Meals on Wheels and she loved to show her roses at the Paris Fair.
Beloved wife of the late Fred (1987); loved mom to Gordon (Sandy) and the late Donna Guthrie (1993); cherished grandma to Martha Sharp (Bill), Jennifer Irvine (Eric), Jim Guthrie, John Guthrie (Kristine) Scott Parkinson (Sheri), and Ian Parkinson (Becky) and 11 great grandchildren ; dear mother in law to Bob Guthrie; also survived by her brother Charlie Lander. Predeceased by a brother Don 'Ducky' Lander.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Friday 10-11 AM.. Family service to follow in the chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Lee Haughton officiating. Interment Paris Cemetery.
