Dayna, Greg, Alicen, Luke, Jesse, and families

Leah Patricia, Alice, Ellen, and families When we would travel to Greg's family's home we usually had a hitchhiker Mom (Hilda). We would see your Mom and Dad after driving for 15 or 16 hours and that may have been very late at night. That did not affect the laugh that was Uncle Bob's. Aunt Leah and Uncle Bob were always glad to see us and wanted us to stay the night and continue our trip to Caistor Center in the morning. I think we did that once in Scarborough. I think we also stayed one time on our way back to NB, again in Scarborough. I remember Uncle Bob cutting Alicen, Luke, and Jesse's toast into boy and girl shapes. He loved to entertain the kids. (And many years before that Mom and I had flown up for a week when I was in Gr. 10 and Ellen and I slept in the Rec Room. When we were getting up, we were surprised by 'stripper' music being played over his sound system very loudly. Scared me to death. But then I heard that laugh and .....). We were talking about Uncle Bob last night with our kids and they each had a special memory. He gave Luke a little horse printing piece, Jesse a fire hat and I just forget what Alicen had said. They remembered the BIG house and throwing rocks in the pond; the sewing room in Peterborough; and going to some hall and helping a little bit to set up for some event. This has become lengthy for someone who is a hunt and peck kind of typist but we wanted you to know we have been thinking of you in these last few days and we empathize with you. Take Care XOXOXOX The Lymburners
