PICKERING – Robert Glenn “Bob”

Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace, surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 3, 2009; a longtime resident of Paris, in his 79th year; Beloved husband of the late Reita “Jean” (nee Warring – 2003); loved father of Larry (Debi), Mark, Tracy Pelton, Bill (Dianne), and Jackie Pickering, all of Paris; grandpa of Jeremy, Marissa, Kyle, Shannon, Stacy, Doug Jr., Tyler, Jonathan, Joey and Josh; great grandpa of Breanna, Drake, Cassi, Brydan, Jack, Lukas, and James; dear brother to Joan Raycraft, Mary Irish, Gail Gadsby, Jerry and Wayne Pickering. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his “Granddog” Pickels. Predeceased by his parents Marvin and Margaret, sister, Maxine Maloney, and brothers Allen and Kenny Pickering

. Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Monday September 7, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 8, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. John MacPhail officiating. Interment following cremation Paris Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society, Huntington’s Society, or the CNIB would be appreciated.
