Obituary for Roderick Edwin "Ted" Cole

Cole, Roderick Edwin "Ted"
Peacefully, at home, on Sunday November 13, 2011, in his 91st year.
Ted served overseas with the RCAF 410 Squadron during WWII, he saw the end of the war in Holland. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 29 Paris and a founding member of the Paris Optimist Club serving many positions within the club. He worked in the Paris area as a plumber.
Beloved husband to Nada (nee Parratt); loved dad to David R. (Linda), and Karen Varga (Tony); cherished grandpa to Melissa Borges (Paul), Tina Cole, Kelly Cole, and Amanda Varga and :G.G. He" to Cristiano and Jacob. Predeceased by his sister Catherine Martiniuk.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 3:00 PM with Rev. Brenda Otawa of Glen Morris United Church officiating. Interment following cremation Paris Cemetery.
A legion service under the auspices of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 29 will be held on Tuesday at 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Glen Morris United Church, The Poppy Fund or Paris Optimist Club would be appreciated
