Suddenly as the result of a farm accident, at Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, October 19, 2011; Ronald Ernest Buck of Keg Lane, Paris, in his 70th year; loving husband and best friend of Lynne (Bailey); cherished father of Sandy VanSickle of Brantford, Duane Buck (Crystal) of Paris, the late Rob Buck (2002) and daughter-in-law Sue of Princeton; devoted Poppa of Michael, Tyler (Jessica), Kevin, Chris (Jes), Matt, Zach (Kelsey), Rebecca, Sarah, Nathan, Lily, and the late Taylor (1993); great Poppa of Tyson and Austin; devoted nephew of Verna Westman; predeceased by his parents Robert and Edith Buck, and sister Marilyn Mathewson; and special brother-in-law of Larry Mathewson (Diane). Ron was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s United Church, long time farmer and 35-year employee of Wise Heating. Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Barbara Fullerton of St. Paul’s United Church, Paris officiating.
