Sarah Elliott & Family

My deepest condolences to the family. I was shocked to hear of Russ’s passing. I thought he would always be there. I enjoyed his random phone calls and how he always kept in touch. Russell had a heart like no other man I have ever met. We had an instant connection. I worked with him for the past 5 years when I was off on both my maturity leaves Russ styed in touch. The way he took care of his house mates and staff was so wonderful. He helped to make sure everyone was doing their job properly and everyone was happy. He made his one non verbal house mate laugh like there was no tomorrow. It saddens me that we will no longer be able to chat and visit one another. Just hearing the cheer in his voice could brighten anyone’s day. He was so passionate about his interests. We enjoyed so many memories together. I will always hold them dear to my heart. What a man Russell was..... I will continue to enjoy ‘the simple things in life’ as he taught me and to listen to one of our favorite songs “Chicken Fried” by Zac Brown Band to remind me of the carefree compassionate man that is so dear to my heart. “Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same.” RIP Russ always in my heart until we meet again. Sarah
