O'Dell, Ruth Loraine (nee Pottruff)
Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace, Paris on Friday July 2, 2010, a longtime resident of Paris, in her 88th year. Ruth was a longtime volunteer at the Willett Hospital; she was a member of the UCW and a Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star Meeting Waters Chapter #173. Beloved wife to Henry; loved mom to Audrey Sayles (Allan). Edith Cook (David) and Lois Luis (Fred); cherished grandma to Deanna (Jamie), Dave (Tina), Steven, Angela (Russell), Nicole (Billy), and Justin; and great grandma to Hannah, Jakob, Sebastian, Kyrin, Tayvin and John; dear sister to Gwen Ladd and sister in law to Blanche Pearson and Irene Doherty. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Lucy Ella, her son Larry and a sister Helen Speers. Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N, Paris on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM for memorial visitation. Memorial Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment later Paris Cemetery. An Eastern Star Service will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 6:30 PM under the auspices of Meeting Waters # 173. Donations to the Cancer Society, ALS, Epilepsy Foundation, or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
