Life Story for Samuel Allan "Sam" Pinkerton

Peacefully, after a brief illness, at Brantford General Hospital, on Monday February 15, 2010, formerly of Paris and Cambridge, in his 81st year.
Sam was a lifelong legion member of the Preston Legion. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Beloved husband to the late Jean (nee Hobbs) (2004); loved father to Debbie Johnston, Gary (Margie), Trent (Sue), and Sharon Patierno (Leo); cherished grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; dear companion to Diane Markus; he is survived by brothers Andrew and John, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home. 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A family service will be held on Friday followed by interment St. James Anglican Cemetery. Donations to the Lung Association or Cancer Society would be appreciated.
